Publishing

VIDEO:

INSTRUCTIONS:

Now that you are done with your project, you are ready to publish it to the "DISCOVER STORE" so other Creadev users can play it.

Start by making sure that the levels you actually used are ticked on (perhaps you created some levels for testing purposes, so you should uncheck those).

HINT: Go back to the "PROJECTS" screen, select your project and click on the "TEST" button of that screen to test that the project is flowing as you have in mind (menu that leads to your first level and that level when completed leads to the following level and so on).

Now that you are done testing. Click on the "PUBLISH" button in the top right of the screen.

In this screen you can see if there are previously published versions of your product, along with the version number, date, status and visibility. The idea is that you will be making updates to your product as you develop it (either fixes or additions) and then you would make a new submission to your users. Every new submission will increase the version number (first submission is version 1.0 the second one will be 1.1 and so on).

HINT: Only the latest submission will be available for the users on the DISCOVER STORE

Click on "NEW SUBMISSION".

In this screenm you need to fill the form by defining the Business Model (Free, Premium), age rating, category (you need to choose three categories that your product belong to), fill in the description, features and add a minimum of 6 screenshots as well as an optional Youtube video URL.

You have to tick "I confirm that I own the IP/Copyright of all the assets in this submission.

HINT: You can click on "PREVIEW PRODUCT PAGE" to see how the end user will see your product page with all the content filled in.

Click on "PUBLISH".

In this screen, you will get the option to set the visibility of your product. Basically what will happen when your product has been reviewed and is approved. Which can be one of four modes:

  • UNLISTED: The product will not show up on the Discover Store even if it is approved.

  • PRIVATE: The product will not be shown publicly on the Discover Store, but it can only be viewed by users who activate it with a special code they enter in the "Activate" screen either in the app or on the web. This is useful for providing access to this product for team members, testers, investors, press or anyone else but not publically.

  • SCHEDULED: Set the product page pubically with either a "Coming Soon" title or set a specific date for availability to the public.

  • PUBLIC: Set the product page public (once it is approved). In this case you have a URL that you can copy and get to your players so the can see your product page on the web and in the app.

Click on "SET VISIBILITY" and you will see the submission added to the Publish Version screen with the status being "PENDING" until it is "APPROVED" or "REJECTED" by a moderator. If it is rejected, you will be notified of the reason so you can fix it and submit again.
