Menu Customization

VIDEO:

INSTRUCTIONS:

From the "LEVELS" screen, click on "USER INTERFACE" in the top bar.

The "USER INTERFACE" is divided to three tabs. The "BRANDING" tab allows you to control how your product look by choosing a theme, a product logo, chaning the product name, menu background, menu music, fonts and colors.

The defaults for these are assigned according to the current project theme by default, so if you selected the PIRATES theme you will get blue and green colors, a suggested menu background, piratey looking fonts and music, but you can change all of that to your custom choices.

The "SOCIALS" tab allows you to enter your social media channels. They will be listed at the bottom of the main menu of the game as well as the Product page on the Discover Store.

The "CREDITS" tab allows you to add entries for the different roles you have on your team (Producer, Director, Designer, Programmer, etc...). Click on "ADD" or "REMOVE" buttons at the bottom of the window to control the credit entries.

Credit entries can be a text or a texture (to show the logo of a company you are collaborating with for example).

TESTING THE MENU:

When you are done customizing the User Interface, click on "PREVIEW" button at the bottom of the screen to see how your menu will look to the "End User" when they launch your product.

It will show your company name, title screen, main menu, credits screen if you have added credits as well as options screen for (Audio, Accessibility, Graphics, etc...).

If the user clicks on "START" they will load the "First Ticked Level" in the "LEVELS" screen. You can tick the level through the checkbox on the left of the level name.

If you were to change the PROJECT THEME from PIRATES to WESTERN for example, you can see the menu design, color, fonts and music will change to reflect that.
