Landscape Editing

You can edit the landscape through (TOOLBOX-LANDSCAPE)

BIOMES:

When you created the scene you selected an initial biome. You can change the biome to any of the other options through (TOOLBOX-LANDSCAPE-BIOME) by just clicking on one. This will change both the Flora and Fauna of the scene.

TERRAIN:

Through (TOOLBOX-LANDSCAPE-TERRAIN-AUTO) you can define the terrain vertical scale, vertical offset, large noise and small noise. These values allows you to control the overall look of the terrain and if it should be mostly flat or made up of hills or mountains.

You can also cahnge the terrain material mix that are assigned for ground and slopes.

BRUSH FUNCTIONS:

Through (TOOLBOX-LANDSCAPE-TERRAIN-MANUAL) you can perform multiple brush functions on the terrain by first selecting the brush type (Raise, Lower, Flatten, Paint, Remove) and then choosing the brush shape from the bottom of the panel and finally increasing the brush size and strength.

With that, you can now hover the mouse over the terrain and see the shape of your brush and click with the left mouse button to apply that function to the area.

In this example you are able to paint grass material on top of sand.
